It was a great pleasure to host our second Game without Thrones evening in Zürich yesterday evening at the Volkshaus.
We had a really energetic and enthusiastic team of castle builders who had their first introduction to the XSCALE framework for organisational agility.
Once again, it was inspiring to see how a team of strangers could come together so quickly, without any “command and control”, and begin working as effective teams delivering an integrated solution.
The Game without Thrones lego simulation is a core part of our eXponential Business Agility (XBA) practitioner training course which assists organizations to generate self-managing value streams that continuously prioritize the removal of bottlenecks to dramatically accelerate top-line business throughput for their portfolio as a whole. It integrates Product, Feature and Systems teams and forms one of XSCALE’s four interlocking practice-pattern languages.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for an entertaining evening. There were some great questions asked and I look forward to following up with many of you on the discussions we started.
Look out for future events by joining our MeetUp group … coming up next “Heroes & Villains” – a Lego-based simulation of core Agile practice patterns including Scrum and Lean-Kanban.
